Perth 15 February 1790 I Laurence Buchan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon
careful Examination of the foregoing Rates and Duties I found they Amount in Whole to Eighteen
pounds fifteen shillings Stg [Sterling] and this date I delivered to Mr Patrick McMillan Collector of said Duties
for the Town aforesaid an Exact Duplicate of the Above Account duly examined and compared
with the foregoing Notes were left with the foregoing Master and Mistresses so as they might find
these returns and for which they are charged Accordingly
