I William Brunton Assessor aforesaid, having made an exact Survey over the whole Stewartry find that
the Servants subject to the payment of the Duty Taxed by the late Act of Parliament are all mentioned and contained
in the particular lists thereof wrote upon the two preceeding pages which contains the Names of the Gentlemen
they Serve in the Stewartry, the Names of the Servants Taxed and their several employments with the Duty
annexed to each Servants Name From the 5th. of July 1777 To the 25th March 1778 Amounting in
whole to the Sum of Thirty four Pounds Ten Shillings Sterling. The foresaid being an exact Duplicate
of that sent to William Gordon Collector of the said Duty's for the Stewartry aforesaid
