Transcriber's notes

There is damage to edge of the page, particularly in the pence column with the consequence that the totals for the parishes of St Ninians and Alva as well as the joint assessment for Leckie and Lecropt cannot be completed or verified. Some values and names extracted from volume 5. The first line for Leckie and Lecropt is completely indecipherable.

Part of the signature of Francis Napier is written over the date and this makes it difficult to read but the legible parts would suggest 1698.
