January 4 -The Lands of Bardrochwood, valuation £135; the Lands of Greddock, valuation £100; the Lands of Ardwall, valuation, £30; the Mill of Bardrochwood, valuation £25; the Park and Crofts of Bardrochwood, valuation £40; the Casualties of the before-mentioned lands, valuation £19; and the proportion of £133 6s [shillings)8d (pennies) called Kenmore and Largs Surplus Teind, valuation £6, divided and allocated as under, on the petition of Patrick Stewart of Boreness, and Patrick Laurie of Urral, the proprietors.
The following allocated to Mr Stewart, viz.

Nathaniel Duke, of Leaths; and Alexander Birnie, of Almorness, agreeing that the several valuations of the Teinds and Lands purchased by them from Spottiswood, as mentioned in the petition, should be deducted from Spottiswood's valuation, and charged upon the Lands belonging to themselves. And the Commissioners ordained the Lands and Teinds and Feu-duties after-mentioned, to be valued separately, in manner after-written; and to be substracted from the valuation of the petitioner, John Spottiswood, viz :-

PARISH OF NEWABBEY
1759. April 30. John Spottiswood, of that ilk, presented a petition to the Commissioners, stating that the whole of his Estate and Teinds, in the Stewartry stood valued at £1166 Scoots, stating also the sales of Lands and Teinds and Feu-duties, made by him to the Honorable William Maxwell of Nithsdale and others; and praying to have the valuation of the Lands and teinds so sold separated from his total valuation, and charged to the severalpurchasers at the rates specified in the petition.
