The MARQUIS of ANNADALE'S Cumulo valuation.
The Marquis of Annandale's haill rent, stock and teynd, within the sheriffdom of Dumfries, comprehending the stewartry of Annadale, and Five Kirks of Eskdale, with the lands of Gilesbie and Thorniquhat, Boighead in Drysdale, Broom in Cummertries, Stabletoune in Dornock, Reidhall and Cavertsholme, the merklands of Righeads in Kirkpatrick-Fleeming, the lands of Newbie and Annand, forty shilling land of Greengathouse and five merkland in Middlebie, maynes, milns, kaynes, customs and other casualties, exactllt considered, stood valued in the Valuation Book, as rectified in May 1671, at 18,232.6.8
But the following deductions are now made from the above cumulo, viz
The lands of Rockhall-head and Carthat, by Act of Commissioners, 30th August 1774, stated under the parish of Lochmaben at, 405.0.0
The lands of Sibaldbie, now belonging to the family of Applegirth, by Act of the Commissioners, 26th May 1737, stated under the parish of Applegirth, &c. at 665.0.0
And the lands of Broom and others, acquire by the family of Kelhead, by Act of the Commissioners, 23d November 1741, are stated under the parishes of Cummertries and Ruthwell, at 559.6.8

The VISCOUNT STORMONT's Cumulo Valuation
The haill lands belonging to the the Viscount of Stormont, viz. - The four merkland of Stocks and Wyllies, in Dornock; the twenty pound land in Lochmaben; the ten pound land of Priestdykes and Broad Chapple; the fifty shilling land of Braidholm in Lochmaben; the twenty merkland of Castlemilk in St Mongo; the twenty pound land of Tunnergarth; the twenty pound land of Little Hutton; twenty merkland of Bengall in Drysdale; the twelve merkland of Trailtrow in Cummertries; the forty pound land of Ruthwell, Cocklicks, and Meikle Bellridding, in the parish of Ruthwell; and seven pound six shilling and eight penny land in Grateney; the twenty pound land of Reidkirk; the five pound land of Lanrigs; the ten pound land of Blaatwood; the eleven merkland of Tordoch; stand valued in the said valuation book at 16384.0.0

The lands of Grateney, that formerly belonged to William Johnston of Grateney, and now to the Marquis of Annandale, 800.0.0

PARISH of DORNOCK.
The fifteen merkland above the Kirk, pertaining to His Grace the Duke of Queensberry, was included in his cumulo. But by Act of the Commissioners, 17th May 1745, the same was appointed to pay by themselves at the rate of, 750.0.0
The fifteen merkland beneath the Kirk, that pertained to Dornock, was valued in cumulo at 525 merks
But by Act of the said Commissioners, bearing date the 1st October 1782, the cumulo valuation of the said lands was divided, and appointed to be stated as follows, viz.
