We the Commissioners of Supply of the County of Bute here unto subscribing; and the Clerk
of supply do Certify that what is written on the first, Second, third, fourth fifth, sixth and
seventh pages of this Book is a true and exact copy of the Valuation of the said County as
it stands at the thirtieth day of September 1802, and by which the Land tax is collected,
differing only in this respect that in the original from whence it is taken, there is not any
distinction made as to the parishes in which the lands or other Hereditaments are situated
And we do further Certify that the total Valuation of the County is Fifteen thousand and forty
two pounds thirteen shillings and ten pennies Scots money as exhibited in the Abstracts on
page eighth of the Book. In faith and testimony of all which we do hereunto subscribe
at Rothesay the first day of October in the said year 1802.
