Certify that upon careful examination of the foregoing Rates & duties I find they
Amount to four pounds four shillings Sterling and that I this day delivered
to James Mercer Treasurer & Coll. [Collector] for Anstruther Easter an exact Duplicate
of the foregoing Account containing My Oath that the preceeding Inhabitants
were duly Served with requisitions of the dates forsaid And that they were
charged According to their own returns on the best information, And that
they were liable to pay the Sums set against their Several names
