I William Laidlaw Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify
that upon careful Examn [Examination] I find the foregoing Duties
amount to Two Pounds four Shillings Str.[Sterling] And that
upon the twenty fourth day of Oct [October] Current I delivered to John Crichton
Collector of said Duties an Exact Duplicate
hereof duly examined & compared which contd. [contained] my Oath
that the before named persons were duly served with
Requisitions and that they are charged comformable
to their Returns or according to my knowlege & belief
that they were liable in said Duties.
