A Survey of the Duties on Horses, Arisin in the Burgh ofDingwall from 5th April 1790 to 5th April 1791
By John Barclay Assistant Surveyr. [Surveyor]
I John Barclay Surveyor Aforesaid do hereby certify That upon
carefull examination of the foregoing Duties I find they Amount
to Three pounds ten Shillings, And that upon the Fourth
day of December current I delivered to Baillie Alexander Kemp presiding
Magistrate of said Burgh there being no Collector of rates, An exact
Duplicate of the above Acct. [Account] duly examind & compared, which containd
my Oath that the preceeding Acct. [Account] containd the Number of Horses
returned to me or were kept or employed by the aforesaid Masters, According to
the best of my knowledge or Information
