Proof -- Proof
3 Horses at 7/6d [£0.7.6] each yearly for 9 months is £0.16.10 1/2
I Robert Aiken Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify That upon
careful examination of the foregoing Rates and Duties, I find they
amount to Sixteen Shillings and ten pence halfpenny Sterling
And that upon the Seventeenth Day of March Current I delivered
to Mr John Watt principal Collector of said Duties for said Burgh
an exact Duplicate of, and Duly examined and compared with the
foregoing Account, which contained my Oath, That Notification was
delivered or left of the date foresaid, and that the Rates charged on said
Account were just and true to the best of my Skill and Knowledge
and to the best of my beleif in person liable to be charged was omitted
