!789 I James Watson Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that [upon]
Carefull Examination of the foregoing Rates and Duties
I find they amount in whole to the sum of Fifteen poun [pounds]
fifteen shillings Sterling And that upon the fifth day [of]
January current I delivered to Mr James Taylor
Collector for the said County of Linlithgow an Exact
Duplicate of the foregoing Rates and Duties whi [which]
contained my Oath that the severall Persons before
named were duly served with Notices and Requisit [Requisitions]
whereby they were to be Charged with the sums he [herein]
Certified to be due by them
