I Robert Dunbar Asst. [Assistant] Surv. [Surveyor] aforesaid, do hereby certify that
upon careful examination I find the foregoing duties amount
to the Sum of £30.10.0 Stg [Sterling], and that upon the 25th day
of January 1790 I sent by one of the Dumfries Carriers
to Mr F Maxwell Collr. [Collector] of the burgh aforesd. [aforesaid] an exact
duplicate of this Accot. [Acccount] which contained my oath that the
foregoing inhts. [inhabitants] were duly served wt. [with] requisitions of the dates
aforesd. [aforesaid] & that they are charged according to their sevl. [several] returns
to me, & to the best information I could procure.
