I John Barclay Surveyor Aforesaid, do hereby certify, That upon
carefull examination of the foregoing Duties, I find they Amount
in whole to Seven pounds three Shillings & nine pence, And that
an exact Duplicate of the Several accot [Account] duly examined & compared
with the foregoing, lys in my own custodie as present [......]
& Collector of said Duties for the Burgh Aforesaid, which [contained]
[my] Oath that the above Acct [Account] contains the number of [Horses]
kept or employed by the different Masters, According to [the best]
of my knowledge or information
