I Daniel Ross Surveyor aforesaid do Certify that
upon carefull examination of the foregoing I
find they amount in whole to Eighteen pounds
Sterling and that upon the tenth day of [--]
1788 I delivered to Mr. James Dick Collr. [Collector] of
the Burgh an exact duplicate of the [foregoing]
which Contains my Oath that notices [were left]
with the Severall Inhabitants or at their [dwelling houses]
of the date anexed to their Respective [Names and]
the above is an exact duplicate of the [returns]
made out by them to me or where that failed
