I William Brunton Surveyor Aforesaid do hereby [Certify that]
upon Carefull examination of the foregoing Taxes [I find they amount]
in whole to the Sum of Three Pounds Ster. [Sterling] And [that upon the -- ]
day of December I delivered to John [Hislop Collector of the]
dutys for the Burgh aforesaid a Copy of the [above duly examined and]
which Contained my Oath that Requisitions [were left with the several]
foregoing persons that they were liable to be Charged [with the sums]
