Linlithgow Town Carriage and Horse Tax Survey from the 5th of
April 1788 to the 5th April 1789 By James Watsone Surveyor

I James Watsone Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that upon carefull
examination of the foregoing Duties I find they amount in whole
to the Sum of Nine pounds Stg. [Sterling] And that upon the twenty first of
[------ I delivered to Mr. ] William Napier Collector of the said
Borough an exact Dupplicate of the above Survey which contained
my oath that the severall persons before named were duly served
with Requisitions and notices whereby they were to be charged
with the sums hereby certified to be due by them
