I William Johnstone Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull examination
I find that the above duties amount to Eighteen pounds ten shillings Sterling and that
upon the seventh day of November I delivered to John Carfrae Collector of the said duties
in the Royalty of Haddington an exact duplicate of this accompt duely examined and
compared which contained my Oath that the above Inhabitents were duely served with
Requisitions of the above date and that they were charged the sums sett against their
names according to their Answers or according to my knowledge & belief that they were
liable in said duties.
