Survey Carriage and Horse Tax. Burgh of Campbeltown
from 10th Oct 1785 till 5 April 1786 By Duncan McNuier Surveyor

I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify That upon carefull examination
of the foregoing Rates and duties I find they ammount to One pounds five Shillings
And that upon the thirteenth day of March Jaivijs [Seventeen hundred] and Eighty Six years I put into the post
Office at Inveraray under Cover of a Letter directed to the Treasurer of the Burgh
aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the above Accompt duly examined and Compared
therewith which contained my Oath that Notices were given to the whole persons
above mentioned or left at their dwelling Houses of the date above mentioned And
that the above Survey was made up from the Returns made to me in Consequence
thereof, And from the best Information I could Otherwise Obtain
