I James Allan Surveyor Aforesaid do hereby certify that
upon carefull Examination of the foregoing several Rates & duties
I find the Amount in Whole to Six pounds ten Shillings Sterg [Sterling]
and that upon 10th Current I delivered to Mr William Napier Coll [Collector]
of the said duties for the Borough Aforesaid an exact duplicate of [the]
Above Accounts duly examined & Compared with the foregoing
which contained my Oath that Notices were left with the seve [several]
Inhabitants or at their dwelling Houses that they were to be
charged with the sums herby certified to be due from them
