WHereby there is a discovery of the number of
concealled hearthes wtin [within] the forsds [foresaids] boundes to amount to Eight
hundereth and fifty seven exactlie

I the abovenamed Andrew Fraser being Nominat by a Meeting of the Commissioners who were appoynted by the Lords of privy Councell for surveying of New the hearthes within the shyre of Aberdeen to cause survey the hearthes within the Town and presbitery of Aberdeen, And to receive up the accomptes of hearthmoney collected be the Collector and his Sub-Collectors abovenamed within the boundes of the sd [said] presbitrey; Doe by these presents testify that the abovewrtin [abovewritin] Report both of the said Collector and Sub-Collectors accomptes and of the New Survey abovementioned; conform to the abovewrtin [abovewritin] Listes is just and true As the samen wes given wp to me by the persons and in maner above set doun respective And it is hereby declaired that the forsd [foresaid] New Survey does not include the list of the poor given up and subscryved by the Ministers in the rexive [respective] parishes @ [as] set down. In testimony whereof this is given at Aberdeen the twenty fyfth day of Febry [February] jaj vi cts and Nyntie three yeirs [25 Feb 1693] by me
