I Charles Robb Assessor aforesaid dou herby Certify that upon careful examination of the [fore]
going Duties I find the amount in whole to Nine pound five shillings sterling and the ten
per Cent duty to eighteen shillings and sixpence sterling and that upon the eight day November
I Delivred to William Draysdell Collector of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact
duplicat of the above account duly examined and compaired with the forgoing which contains
my Oath that notices wer left with the severall persons befor named or at their dwelling
houses of the dates annexed to their respective names requiring them within fourteen days
to give in a list of their carriages or saddle horses retained or Employed by them from the
5 Day of April 1790 to the 5 April 1791 and that the said account or Survey is made
out from the list returned to me and from the best information I could procuer of
carrs [carriges] or saddle horses of those whose list are deficient neglected or refused to give in a list these
terms of the notices left with them as aforesaid
