I David Ross Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon carefull examination of the
foregoing Rates & Duties. I find they Amount in whole to Thirteen Shillings & nine pence
& that upon the twenty sixth day of Oct [october] curt. [current] I delivered to Baillie Alexander Kemp one of the
present Baillies of said Burgh to be returned to the Collector for said Burgh An exact
Duplicate of the Above Acct. [Account] duly examined & compared with the foregoing which contained my
oath that the above Acct. [Account] contained the number of servants returned to me & that were kept
or employed by the several masters or mistress's According to the best of my knowledge
or Information
