I William Currie aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon Carefull examination of the foregoing Severall [rates]
and duties I find they Amount in whole to Fourteen pounds Seven Shillings and Sixpence
and that upon the 26 day of Dec. [December] 1788 I delivered to Mr Frances Maxwell. Collr. [Collector] for the said duty
for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the foregoing which Contains my oath that
Requestions were left with the servant Inhabitants or at ther dwellings Houses of the dates
Annexed to their Respective names and that the Above is an exact Return made by [them]
[to] me or where that failed by the best Information I Could get.
