I William Johnstone Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull examination I find the foregoing Duties
amount to the sum of Ninety one pounds Seventeen shillings and six pence Sterling and that when the seventh day of
November (1787) I delivered to William Wilkie Depute Collector of these duties for County of East Lothian an exact du-
plicate of this Accompt dueley examined and Compared which contained my Oath that the preceeding Inhabitants were regula-
rily served with requisitions and that they were charged according to the Answers they made thereto or according to my know-
ledge & belief that they were liable in these duties.
