whole to Four pounds fourteen shilling Sterling, And that upon the
seventeenth day of December Currt. [Current] I delivered to James Johnstone Collector of said Duties
for said Burgh an exact Duplicate of, and duly examined & compared with
the foregoing Account which contained my Oath That notifications were delivered
or left of the dates foresaid, And that Rates charged in said Account were

I William Currie aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon Carefull Examination of the [foregoing]
Several Rates and duties I find they Amount in whole to Nine pounds Eight [Shillings]
and that upon the 26 day of Dec. [December] 1788 I delivered to Mr. Frances Maxwell Collr. [Collector] for
Said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the foregoing which [Contained]
my Oath that Requisitions were left with the several Inhabitants or at their
Houses of the date Anexed to their Respective names & that the Above is an Exact [duplicate]

I George Storie Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that upon Careful examination
of the foregoing Several Rates and Duties I find they Amount to Twenty five pounds
Fourteen Shillings Sterling and that upon the Twenty Second day of November Currant I delivered
to John Carlile Collector of the said duties for the Burghs aforesaid one exact duplicate of the
above Accounts duely examined and Compared with the foregoing which contained my Oath
that notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at their dwelling houses of the dates
annexed to their respective names that they were to be charged with the Sums hereby
Certifyed to be due from them Given under my hand at Glasgow the Twenty fourth day of Novemr [November] 1785

I Duncan Mac Nuier Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify That upon carefull
examination of the foregoing duty I find it amounts to four Shillings
and that upon the 22nd April 1789. I delivered to Daniel Campbell Esqr Collr [Collector]
of the Sd [Said] duty for the Shire of Argyll an exact Duplicate of the
above Accompt duly examined and Compared with the foregoing
which contained my Oath that Notifications were given to the foregoing
persons and that the above Survey was made out from the Returns,

I Charles Robb Assessor aforesaed do hireby Certefy that upon careful Examination of
the foregoing Several rates and Duties I find they Amount in whole to the Sum of One
pound Twelve Shillings Sterlling and that upon the Twenty forth day of November I delivered
to John Hutton Collector for the Burgh aforesaed an Exact Duplicat of the Above Account
duly Examened and Compared with the foregoing which Contaened my Oath that Notices
were left with the Several Inhabittants or at their Dwelling Houses of the dates Annexed
to their respective Names that they were to be Charged with the Sums hireby Certified
to be due from them

I Anthony Macmillan Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that upon
careful examination of the foregoing Several rates and Duties I find they
amount in whole to the Sum of one pound two Shillings Sterling and
that upon the Twelfth day of November one thousand & Seven
hundred & Eighty eight years I delivered to Mr John Ewart Collr. [Collector] of
the said duties in the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate of

Carefull examination of the foregoing Tax I find they Amount in
whole to the Sum of Two Pound four Shills. [Shillings] Ster. [Sterling] And that upon the
25 day of December I delivered to John Hyslop Collector
of Said dutys for the Burgh aforesaid a Copy of the Above duly
compared which Contained my Oath that Requisitions were left
with the foregoing persons that they were to be Charged with the

I Charles Robb Assessor aforesaed do hireby certify that upon careful examination of the
foregoing Dates & Duties, I find the Amount in whole to be the Sum of Three pounds Two
Shillings Sterlling and that upon the Twenty fifthday of November I delivered to Andrew
Gullen Collector for the Burgh aforesaed an exact Duplecat of the above Account
duly Examened and Compered with the foregoing which Contaened my Oath that Notices
were left the Several Inhabetants on at their Dwelling houses of the dates
Annexed to their respective Names that there were to be Charged with the Sums
hereby certefied to be due from them.

Several Rates & Duties, I find they Amount in whole is Four pounds Eighteen Shillings [Sterling]
and that upon the 26th day of December 1788 I delivered to Mr. William Whigan Collector for the
Said duties for the Burgh aforesaid and Exact duplicate of the foregoing which Containd
my Oath that Requisitions were left the Several Inhabitants or at their
dwelling Houses of the date annexed to their Respective names & that the Above is the duplicate
of the Returns made by them to me as where that failed by the best Information
I could get.
