I Duncan Mac Nuier Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify That upon
Careful examination of the foregoing several Rates and Dutys I Find they are
in whole to the sum of One pound ten Shillings Sterling and that upon
the Thirteenth Day of March Jaivijs [Seventeen hundred and Eighty six] I Delivered to Peter
MacArthur Depute to Donald Campbell Esq. Principal Collector of
said Dutys for the Shire within mentioned in absence of the said Donald
Campbell an Exact Duplicate of the above Attempt duely Examined
and Compared with the foregoing which Contained my Oath. That
Intimations were given to the whole foregoing persons or Left at
their Dwelling houses of the respective Dates aforesaid, and that the
foregoing Survey, or Assessment was made up from the Returns made
to me in Consequence thereof and from the best Information I could
