Proof 2 four wheel Carriages for hire at £7.0.0 each £14.0.0
Ten per cent thereon is £1.8.0

I Anthony Macmillan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that
upon careful examination of the foregoing several rates and
Duties I find they amount in whole to the sum of Fifteen
Pounds eight shillings Sterling; and that upon the
Eighth day of Decr. [December] one thousand seven Hundred & ninety
two years I delivered to Mr Thomas McNair Collector of
the said Duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate
of the foregoing what contained my Oath that Requisitions
or notices were delivered to or left for the said Persons at his
dwelling house of the date annexed to his name that was
to be charged with the duty so due from him
