Prooff two Publick Carriages @ £7.0.0 each for a year £14.0.0
I Patrick Mcdonald Surveyor do hereby Certify that Upon Careful examination
of the foregoing rates And duties I find they Amount to fourteen
pounds Sterlg [Sterling] and that I delivered to Thomas Eddie Collr [Collector] of said duties
in the Town of Forres an exact duplicate of the above Acctt [Account] examind &
Compard which Contained my Oath that the Several Inhabitants were
Served with Requisitions And the Assessment Made up from the lists
and Answers in My Possession
