I Robert Maughan Surveyor Aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon
careful examination of the Foregoing Rates & Duties I find they Amount
in Whole To One Thousand and Sixty Eight Pounds Sterling; and that upon
the 25th day of December 1790 I delivered to Mr George McQueen Collector
of said Duties in the City of Edinburgh an exact Duplicate of the foregoing
Accompt duly examined and Compared which contained my oath [that]
requisitions were left with the Several Inhabitants or at their dwelling
Houses of the Dates annexed to their respective names.
