I Hugh Richmond Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify That upon carefull Examination
of the foregoing Severall Rates & Duties I find I they amount in whole to Eighty Nine
pounds five Shillings Sterling and that upon the 24th day of December last I
caused deliver to Mr James Thomson adt [Advocat]. Collector of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid

and of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above Account

of the foregoing several Rates and Duties, I find they amount, in whole to Two Hundred
and Seventy pounds Seven Shillings & Sixpence Sterling: and that, upon the ---
I delivered to Mr John Carlile Collector of the said Duties for the Shire
aforesaid, an exact Duplicate of the above Account, duly examined and compared
with the foregoing, which contained my Oath, that Notices were left with the [Several]
Inhabitants, or at their Dwelling- houses, of the Dates annexed to their respective

I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that upon Careful Exa-
mination of the Foregoing several Rates and Dutys I find they amount in whole to the
sum of Seven Pounds, Seventeen Shillings and Sixpence sterling, and that upon
the thirteenth Day of March [Iaivys][Seventeen Hundred] and Eighty six I Delivered to Peter Mac

March I delivered to Andrew Gullen Collector for the Burgh aforesaid an
Exact Duplicat of the Above Account duly Examined and Compared with the
foregoing which Contained my Oath that Notices were left with the Several
Inhabitants or at their Dwelling houses of the dates Annexed to their Respective
Names that they were to be Charged with the Sums hereby Certified to be due from

that upon the 18 of March 1786 I sent by Post to Andrew Brown
Collector of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact dupli-
cate of the above Acct. [Account] duly examined and Compared with the
