ends of the horns at the WSW. [West South West] 40' and at
the ENE. [East North East] 60'. The ruined state of the cairn
however, renders these measurements
only approximate. In the centre of the
concavity at the ENE. [East North East] end stand two slabs
about 3'.10" in height above the ruin, 2'.6" to 3' in
width, and 1'.4" apart, which probably mark
the outer end of the entrance passage. The
exact projection of the horns is not in the
existing state of the ruin observable but the
length from these portals to the outer extremity
on the N. [North] is 35', and at the opposite end
the distance from the centre point of the
end of the cairn to the approximate end of
the horns is 23'. No part of the chamber
is at present recognisable.

Cairn (Unnoted) Leodebost.
Some 30 yds. [yards] to the NW. [North West] of the last are the
dilapidated remains of a circular cairn
from which many cart loads of stone have
been removed. One or two large upright visibly
in situ proclaim its chambered character
but the plan of the chamber is not apparent.
The diameter is 44' and the elevation now
trifling.
About 1/4 m. [mile] W. [West] of Leodebost on the
N. [North] side of the road & some 20' back from
