and Morven commenced a crescent of
mountains which terminated with
Clibreck or Ben Loyal on the NW. [North West]. The
ling is just coming into bloom and the
honey scent of it is in the air. I never
remember a year in which the grouse seemed
so numerous. The coveys are large
and the birds well grown.
