the moorland about 3/4 m. [mile] N [North] by E [East] of Dorrery
Lodge is a small rectangular enclosure lying
E [East] and W. [West] measuring some 5' x 3' and surrounded
by a broad low bank of turf. The ends of
the interior are faced with slabs set on edge
about 10" above ground and on the S [South] side building
is visible. An entrance passage 2' wide and
3 1/2' in length leads into the enclosure at the SE [South East]
angle. Over all the construction measures
about 25' in diameter.

Gavin's Kirk Dorrery (2)
About 1/4 m. [mile] SE. [South East] of Dorrery Lodge & towards
the E [East] end of the graveyard there are the
ruins of a small chapel. It has consisted
of a nave and chancel the former
measuring 15' x 12' and the latter 8' x 7'.
The total length of the interior has been
27' and the thickness of the walls 3'.6".
The greatest height of wall remaining is
about 3'.

Chambered Cairn.
Situated about 1/4 m. [mile] N [North] by E [East] of Dorrery Lodsge
is a chambered cairn which has been
partially excavated. The diameter over
all has been about 42'. Towards the W. [West]
on the outer edge two slabs set on end, 2'
apart, probably mark the end of the entrance
passage. At 16' inwards a thin slab
