015.12 | A large Square building on west bank of Crombie Burn now converted into a dwelling for the occupiers of Mains of Crombie it has little or no appearance of a Castle owing to the many Alterations it has undergone, in the garden there is a stone which was taken from the Castle bearing the initials and figures GM./M.S at this period it was occupied by George Meldrum Episcopal Minister of Glass. but the date of its first erection cannot ascertain it has no appearance of having been fortified at any time. it is the property of J.
