I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon Careful examination
of the foregoing Taxs I find the amount in whole to be Six Shills. [Shillings] and eight pence
Ster. [Sterling] and that upon the Twenty Second day of Octbr. [October] 1788 I delivered to John Lang
Collector of the said dutiy for the Burgh aforesaid a Copy of the above duly compared
which contained My Oath that notices were left with the forgoing persons that they were
to be charged with the Sums Set against their Several Names
