The commissioners of valuation for ede [edinburgh] shire being mett conforme to
the polber granted to them in the act of convention of estaites in anno 1667
for regulating and proportioning of the severall rentes of the shyre of
egh [edinburgh after mature delibera'in [deliberation] have considderit and ordered that ye [the]
rentall contained in the Fourtin preceding subt [subscrivet] pages of this
book salbie the [-- ] and onlie rule off collecting and raising of the
cess and vyr [other] publick dewes alreadie imposit in anno 1667 or to
be imposit upon the shyre in aine tymcoming
