1814.Sept.30 The Committee appointed to make up a New Valuation Roll of the Stew-
artry, at their Meeting on 9th September, 1814, were of opinion that
this division of the Estate of Netherlaw was illegal, and ultra vires of
the Commissioners, because the whole of that Estate belonged at the
time to one Proprietor; and therefore the Committee authorized the
Clerk of Supply to overlook the Division, and to enter the Valuation of
the Estate of Netherlaw in the New Roll in the same manner as it stood
in the Roll made up on the 14th day of June, 1799; and the proceed-
ings of the Committee were ratified and confirmed by the unanimous de-
cision of a General Meeting of the Commissioners of Supply for the
Stewartry, held at Kirkcudbright, on the 30th day of September, 1814.
1819. Feb.12. The Lands of Collin and Hause, valuation £123, divided as under:-
