The Haill Lands belonging to the Viscount of Stormont, viz:- The Four Merkland of Stocks and Wylies in Dornock, The Twenty Poundland in Lochmaben, The Ten Poundland of Priestdykes and Broad Chapple, The Fifty Shillingland of Braidholm in Lochmaben, The Twenty Merkland of Castlemilk in St. Mungo, The Twenty Poundland of Tundergarth, The Twenty Poundland of Little Hutton, The Twenty Merkland of Bengall in Drysedale,
The Twelve Merkland of Trailtrow, in Cummertrees, The Forty Poundland of Ruthwell and Meikle Belridding, in the parish of Ruthwell, and Meikle Belridding, in the parish of Ruthwell, and Seven Pound Six Shilling and Eight Penny Land in Graitney, The Twenty Poundland of Reidkirk, The Five Poundland of Lanriggs, The Ten Poundland of Blaatwood, The Eleven Merkland of Tordoch, stood valued in the valuation book in cumulo, at 16384.0.0
But by various Decrees of the Commissioners before adverted to, several Lands included in said cumulo, have been disjoined therefrom, and rated separately under the respective parishes in which they are situated, as under:-
30 Apr 1792. By decree, of this date, Lands in Tundergarth valued at 1122.0.0
By same decree, Lands in Dryesdale at 1300.0.0
By same decree, Lands in St. Mugo at 750.0.0
By same decree, Lands in Cummertrees at 468.0.0
By same decree, Lands in Lochmaben, at 460.0.0
By same decree, Lands in Lochmaben, at 2618.0.0
[sub total] 6718.0.0
Thus reducing his Lordship's cumulo valuation, at this date, to 9666.0.0
5 Oct 1824. And by decree of the Commissioners of this date, they divided the above remaining cumulo as under:-
The Four Merkland of Stocks and Wyllies, in Dornock parish, at 270.0.0
The Lands of Bengaw, in Drysedale parish, at 700.0.0
The Seven Pound Six Shilling and Eight Penny Land in Graitney, The Twenty Pound Land of Reidkirk, The Five Poundland of Lanriggs, The Ten Poundland of Blaatwood, and Eleven Merkland of Tordoch, alll in the united parishes of Graitney and Reidkirk, at 5123.0.0
His Lordship's property and quitrents from Castlemains and Barony of Lochmaben, at 1340.0.0
And the Forty Shillingland of Ruthwell, Cocklicks, and Bellridding, in Ruthwell parish, at 2233.0.0

land acclaimed by William Carlyle in Roucan, The Twenty Shillingland of Reidhall in Lochmaben, The Netherland Croft in Dalgarno, The Kirkland of Torthorwald, Mortonholm and Penpont, The Ten Pound Land of Dornock above the Kirk, with the Birks in Penpont, Godsbrig, Neuk, and Twenty Shillingland possessed by Hog in Middlebie, were valued in the Valuation Book made up in May 1671 in cumulo, at 33687.0.0
And on a petition presented to the Commissioners, it was stated by the Duke of Queensberry, that on examining the Valuation Book and placing out the Lands therein contained, purchased by that Family since the time it was made up, there appeared none whereof the Tenants did not pay the supply, except the following, viz. :-

PARISH OF MORTON.

The Four Meland of Drumshinnoch, 120.0.0
PARISH OF DURRISDEER.
The whole Lands in this parish, which are particularly mentioned under it, except Durrisdeertown and the Lands pertaining to Lord Eliock, 3985.0.0

The total valuation of the Duke's Estate, not including such of his purchases, as the Tenants paid the supply of, appeared to be 39439.6.8
And the Commissioners, by their decree above-mentioned, appointed the supply, payable forth of the above valuation, to be uplifted as follows, viz:-
For the Lands pertaining to his Grace in the Presbytery of Penpont, including the Lands of petty Heritors in Kirkconnell parish, according to the valued rent of 32309.10.0
For the Barony of Ross, including the Lands of Courans and Reidhall in Lochmaben, now rated under Kirkmichael, at 2735.10.0
For the Barony of Torthorwald, the sume of 3074.0.0
N.B. - This last article, now stated under the parish of Torthorwald.
For his Grace's part of Gotsbrig, or Scotsbrig, the valued rend of 150.0.0
For the Lands of Neuk and Twenty Shillingland, formerly possessed by Hogg in Middlebie, the sum of 420.0.0
N.B. - The two last articles stated under the parish of Middlebie.
For the Ten Poundland of Dornock above the Kirk, 750.0.0
Extending together to the sum of 39439.6.8
The Duke of Queensberry's cumulo valuation in the Presbytery of Penpont, as above stated, in 32309.10.0
13 Oct 1748. And, by decree of the Commissioners of this date, the following Lands were disjoined therefrom, and appointed to be rated, per se, as under:-
