17. May 1745. Lands of Scarhead in Durrisdeertown, besides Fishings, Services, Kaynes, and other casualties not included nor valued, were rated in the old valuation Roll, at 1800.0.0

And by decree of this date, the Commissioners ordained the whole of the above lands, valued as aforesaid, to be included in the cumulo valuation of the Estate of Queensberry.
3. Oct. 1774. The Merk Lands that pertained to the Earl of Carnwath, and which belonged to Lord Eliock, are stated in the old valuation Book at 800 merks, and by decree of this date, the Commissioners, on the Petition of Lord Eliock and others, found and declared that these parts and portions of the Twenty-six Merk Land of Eliock, situated in this parish, viz:- The Lands of Crairie, The Lands of Burnmouth, Fardingmalloch, Glenwhirn, Over Glengenny, Nether Glengenny, and Dryfesmark, with
pertinents, ought to be stated in the Cess Books of the County, as lying within this parish, by the aforesaid names, in place of the general description under which they stood originally valued at the foresaid sum of 800.0.0
30. Apr 1827. The Commissioners, by their decree of this date, divided the cumulo valuation of the Five Merk Land of the Town of Durrisdeer, being 247 merks 6s. [shillings] 8d., [pennies] (exclusive of 4-16th shares thereof, called Scarhead, which forms part of the Duke of Queensberry's cumulo,) and appointed the same to be rated separately as under:-
Nine-sixteenth shares thereof, belonging to the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry 185.8.4
Three-sixteenth shares, belonging to James Yorstoun and John Harper 61.11.8
