The lands that pertained to Sir Robert Dayell, including the lands of Newtoune, and Kirkland of Dalgarnock, the twenty pound land of Kirkmichael, the ten pound land of Amisfield, the ten pound land of Dalruscan, the ten pound land of Auchinnane, the ten pound land of Trailflat, and miln thereof, were valued together at 4490 merks.
But the following deductions are to be made from the same, viz.
For the lands of Newtoune and Kirkland of Dalgarnock, now stated under the parish of Closeburn, in consequence of the Act of the Commissioners, bearing date 30th August 1774, 750.0.0

So that the valued rent of the lands remaining with the honourable Alexander Dalzell of Glenae, and others, lying partly in this parish, and partly in the parish of Tinwald, was 3590.0.0
But by an Act of the Commissioners of Supply, bearing date the 2d November 1784, the cumulo valuation of the estate of Glenae was divided, and appointed to be stated as follows, viz.
The ten pound land of Amisfield, the ten pound land of Auchnane, the ten pound land of Trailflatt, the miln thereof, and the part of of the ten pound land of Dalruscan, all now belonging to his Grace the Duke of Queensberry, lying partly in this parish, and partly in the parish of Tinwald, 1530.0.0
The twenty pound land of Kirkmichael, and the remainder of the ten pound land of Dalruscan, situated in the parishes of Kirkmichael and Tinwald, that belonged to Alexander Dalzell, Esquire of Glenae, at 1530.0.0
The lands of Over and Nether Glenkilns, comprehending Blackcleugh and Lambfoot, then belonging to William Kirkpatrick, Esq; of Conheath, at 200.0.0
And the lands of Craigshiel and Holehouse, belonging to James Swan, at 330.0.0
