14 horses at 10/ [£0.10.0] each is £7.0.0
2 horses at 15/ [0.15.0] each is £1.10.0
2 horses at 17/6 [0.17.6] each is £1.15.0
I Robert Aiken Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that
upon Careful Examination of the forgoing Rates & Duties I
find they amount to Ten pounds five shillings Sterg. [Sterling] which with
the ten per cent duty thereon being one pound & sixpence
Sterg [Sterling] makes them in whole amount to Eleven pounds five
shillings and sixpence Stirling And that upon the Twenty fourth
day of November I delivered to Mr William Templeton
Collector of said Duties for said Burgh at his office an exact
Duplicate of And duly examined and Compared with the
forgoing Account which Contained my Oath that Notifications
were delivered or left of the dates foresaid And the
Rates and Duties Charged in said Account were just &
true Charges to the best of my skill & knowledge and to the
best of my belief no person liable to be charged was
omitted
