Survey of the CARRIAGE AND SADDLE HORSE TAX in the Royalty of
Dunbar from the 5 Aprile 1794 to To the 5 Aprile 1795 by John Menzies Survr [Surveyor]

I John Menzies Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify That upon Carefull examination
I find the foregoing Duties Amount to the sum of Nine pounds Seven Shillings
Sterling And that upon the 30 August 1794 I delivered to Patrick Halyburton
Colector of said duties an exact duplicate of this Accompt duely examined
and Compared which contained my Oath that the foregoing inhabitants
were duely served with Requisitions And that they were charged According to the
Answers they made thereto or According to my knowledge and belief that they
lyable in said Duties
