[Page] 133Survey of the CARRIAGE AND SADDLE HORSE TAX. in the Burgh
of Stranr [Stranraer] from the 5th. April 1792 to 5th. April 1793 by me Anthony Macmillan Survr. [Surveyor]
I Anthony Macmillan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that
upon careful examination of the foregoing Several rates and
duties I find they amount in whole to the sum of Three
Pounds Seven Shillings Sterling; and that upon the
Eighth day of Decr. [December] Invyjc [1700] & ninety two years I delivered
to Mr Thomas McNair Collr. [Collector] of the said duties for the Burgh
aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the foregoing, which contained
my Oath that Reqn [Requisitions] or notices were left with the said
several Persons or at their dwelling Places of the dates
annexed to their respective names that they were to be charged
with the duties hereby certified to be due from them
