Supplement to the Survey made by David Hutcheson Surveyor
of ADDITIONAL CARRIAGE AND RIDING HORSE TAX
for Dumbartonshire in 1789

I David Hutcheson Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that
upon carefull Examination of the foregoing Rates and Duties find
they amount in whole to the sum of two pounds one shilling
& threepence sterling – and that this day I delivered to Thomas
Ewing Collector of said Duties an exact Duplicate of the same
containing my oath that notices was left with the whole
foregoing Inhabitants or at their dwelling houses of dates aforesd [aforesaid]
that they were to be charged with the sum hereby certifyed
to be due from them -
Given at Glasgow this
25 day of March 1790
