8 Horses at £0.10. 0 each is £4.0.0 Sterling

I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby
Certify upon Careful examination of the foregoing Duties
I find they amount in whole to the Sum of £4.0.0 Sterling
and that upon the 12 day of Novr [November] I Delivered to
John Hislop Collector of the Said duties for the Burgh
aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above duly
examined & Compared with the foregoing which
Contained my Oath that Notices were left with the
Several Inhabitants that they were to be Charged
with the Sums against their Several Names
