I John Wood Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify That upon
careful Examination find these duties to amount to the Sum
of two hundred & seventy thre pounds Stg. [Sterling], And that upon this
present day being the 12th of November 1787 I did deliver
to George Cranstoun Esqr. Collector, a full Duplicate of the
Accompt which contained my Oath that the Charges made,
agt. [against] the several Inhabitants are either from signed Lists de
livered to me, Or where they failed to make out & have
ready such Lists when called for in terms of Law, from
the best Information I could receive, at same time leaving
notices for them of the Charges to be made
