Survey Carriage and Horse Tax. Burgh of Inveraray
from 10 October 1785 till 5th April 1786 By Duncan McNuier Surveyor

I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify That upon Careful Examinat[ion]
on of the foregoing several Rates and Duties I find they amount in whole to the
sum of Five Pounds sterling and that upon the Thirteenth day of March I [?????]
and Eighty six I Delivered to Peter MacArthur Deputy to Donald Campbell Esq
Principal Collector of the said Duties for the Burgh aforesaid in absence of the said
Donald Campbell, an Exact Duplicate of the about amount duely Examined and
Compared with the foregoing which Contained my oath, That Intimations
were given to the whole foregoing persons, or left at their Dwelling houses
of the respective Dates aforesaid, and that the foregoing Survey or Assessment
was made up from the Returns made to me in Consequence thereof, and
from the best Information I could otherwise obtain. Duncan MacNuier
