I James Allan Surveyor of aforesaid, do certify that upon careful Examination of
the foregoing Rates & duties they Amount in Whole to Two pounds one Shilling & threepence Sterling
& that upon the 10th Currt [Current], I delivered to Mr William Napier Collector of the said duties for the Town
aforesaid an Exact duplicate of the above Account duly Examined & Compared with the foregoing which
contained my Oath that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at their dweling Houses that
they are chargeable with the Sums hereby certified to be due from them,
