I Hugh MacFarquhar Surveyor aforesaid, do hereby certify that upon careful examination of the
foregoing Rates and Duties, I find they amount in whole to Two pounds Six shillings & tenpence
halfpennie, and that upon the thirteenth day of this current month of Febry [February] I delivered to
Provost Andrew Robertson of Dingwall, present Elected Baillie of the Burgh aforesaid an
exact Duplicate of the above Acct [Account] duly examined & compared with the foregoing which contained
my Oath that the above lists contained the number of Servants returned to me by the different
masters & mistress's, & that were kept as employed by them according to the best of my
knowledge or information
