I find the foregoing duties amount to Nine pounds Sixteen
shillings sterling and that upon the Seventh day of December
1790 I delivered to Mr William Copland collector of the said duties
an exact duplicate of this accompt duely examined & Compared
which contained my oath that the preceeding Inhabitants
were duely served with requisitions and that they were [charged] in Conformity to their several returns now in my [possession]
or according to my knowledge & belief that they were

on of the foregoing duties I find they Amount in whole to On pound four Shillings
Sterlling and that upon the Twenty fourt day of November I delivered to Alexander
Clark Collector of the saed Duties for the Burgh aforesaid an Exact duplicat of
the above Account duly Examined and Compared with the foregoing which Contained
My Oath that Notices were left with the Several persons befor named or at their
dwelling houses of the dates anexed to their respective names requiring them within four
teen dayes to give in alest of their Carriages or Sadle horses retained or employed by them from

I Robert Aiken Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify that
upon careful examination of the foregoing Rates & Duties I
find they amount in whole to Three pounds four shillings Sterling
And that upon the Twenty sixth day of November Current
I delivered to Mr Thomas McClelland Collector of said
Duties for said Burgh an exact Duplicate of and duly
examined and compared with the foregoing Account which
contained my oath that notifications were left of the dates foresaid
and that the rates charged in said Account were just and true to the
best of my skill and knowledge, and no person liable to be charged was
omitted.

Sterlling and that upon the Twenty thrud day of November I delivered to James
Blackwood Collector of the saed duties for the Burgh aforesaed an Exact duplicate
of the above Account duly Examined and compared with the foregoing which [Contained]
my Oath that Nottices were left with the Several parsons befor named or at their [dwelling]
houses of the dates Anexed to their respective names requiring them within fourteen [days]
to give in alist of their Carriage or Saddele horses (retined or employed by them [from]
the 5 day of April 1789 to the 5 day of April 1790 and that the said Account [or]

I Charles Robb Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon careful Examination
of the foregoing duties I find they Amount in whole to One pound Twelve Shillings
Sterlling and that upon the Seventeen day of November I delivered to David
Swine Collector of the saed duties for the Burgh aforesaid an Exact duplicat of the
above Account duly Examined and compared with the foregoing which Contained My
Oath that Nottices were left with the Several parsons befor named or at their dwelling
houses of the dates anexed to their respective Names requiring them within fourteen dayes
to give in alist of their Carriage or Saddele horses (retained or employed by them from the
5 day of April 1789 to the 5 day of April 1790 and that the said Account or Survey is
made Out from the lists returned to me and from the Best Information I could procure
of the Carriage or horses ( of those whose lists are deficient Negleited or refused to give in
a list thereof in termes of the Nottices left with them as aforesaed

I George Storie Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby Certify That upon careful examination of the
foregoing several Rates and Duties I find they Amount in whole to Twenty six pounds Fourteen Shillings
Sterling and that upon this day I delivered to John Carlile Collector of the said duties for the Burgh
aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above Accounts duly examined and compeared with the foregoing
which Contained my Oath the Notices or Requisitions were left with the several Inhabitants or at
their Dwelling Houses of the dates annexed to their Names that they were to be charged with the

I Charles Robb Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon careful Examination of
the foregoing duties I find they Amount in whole to One pound Ten Shillings Sterlling
and that upon the Twenty theed [third] day of November I delivered to John Killick Collector
of the saed Duties for the Burgh aforesaid an Exact duplicat of the above Account
duly Examined and Compared with the foregoing which Contained My Oath
that Nottices were left with the Several parsons befor Named or at their dwelling
houses of the dates anexed to their respective Names requiring them within fourteen
dayes to give in alist of their Carrige or Saddele horses (retained or employed by them
from the 5 day of April 1789 to the 5 day of April 1790 and that the said account or
Survey is med Out from the list returned to me and from the Best information I could
procure of the Carriage or horses (of those whose list ar deficient Negleited or refused to
give in a list their of in termes of the Nottices left with them as aforesaed

Nottices were left with the Several parsons befor named or at their dwelling houses
of the dates anexed to their respective Names requiring them within fourteen
dayes to give in alist of their Carriages or Saddele horses (retined or employed by
them fromthe 5 day of April 1789 to the 5 day of April 1790 and that the said
Account or Survey is med Out from the list returned to me and from the Best
Information I could procure of the Carriage or horses (of those whose list ar deficient
Neglcited or refused to give in alist their of in termes of the Nottices left with them

I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon carefull examination
I find the above duties amount to the Sum of Two pound fourteen Shillings and that [upon]
the Twenty seventh day of November I delivered to John Hyslop Collector of these duties [for]
the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the Above which contained my Oath that the
preceeding inhabitants were duly served with Requisitions of the forward dates desiring
them within Fourteen days to deliver or cause to be delivered to me upon calling for that purpose
an Attested list of all the Servants horses and Carriages used and employed by them from [the]

I Charles Robb Surveyor aforesaed do heirby certify that upon careful Examination
of the foregoing duties I find they amount in whole to Two pound Fourteen Shillings
Sterlling and that upon the Eighteen day of November I delivered to Andrew
Gullen Collector of the saed duties for the Burgh aforesaed an Exact duplicat of
the above Account duly Examined and compared with the foregoing which Contained my
Oath that Nottices were left with the Several parsons befor named or at their
dwelling houses of the dates Anexed to their respective names requiring them within fourteen
dayes to give in alist of their Carriage or Saddle horses (retained or Employed by them from
the 5 day of April 1789 to the 5 day of April 1790 and that the saed Account or
Survey is med Out from the list returned to me and from the Best Information
I could procure of the Carriage or horses ( of those whose list are deficiant Negleited or
refused to give in alist theire of in termes of the Nottices left with them
as aforesaed

I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon carefull
examination I find the above duties amount to the Sum of One pound fourteen Shillings
and that upon the 24th day of Novr. [November] 1790 I delivered to Patrick Taitt
Collector of these duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the above which
containd my Oath that the preceeding inhabitants were duly served with Requisitions
of the dates foresaid desiring them within fourteen days to deliver or cause to be delivered
to me upon calling for that purpose an attested list of all the Servants horses and Carriages
used and employed by them from the 5 of April 1789 to the 5 of April 1790 as well as
an acount of what Servants horses and Carriages they might use and employ any
where Else and that the forgoing report was made up from their Several attested
lists or Returns to me from the best information I could procure or from my own certain
knowledge of their respective Establishments
